A1 Cash & Carry began in 1998 as a part-time business operating out of our home garage. We started by selling shopping bags and slowly added more items that our customers required.
Today we stock over 10,000 products in our 200,000sq ft of cash and carry across three locations: Mississauga, Etobicoke and London.
A1 Cash & Carry is a master distributor and wholesaler of: restaurant equipment, small wares, janitorial, food packaging, proteins, produce, dairy, frozen foods, bulk grocery, and beverage.
A1 Cash & Carry serves over 1,000 customers every day, through cash & carry, doorstep delivery, or our re-distribution program. We work hard to keep our customers happy by going above and beyond their expectations; in price, consistency, quality and service.
Our President, Mr. Amjad Parvaiz, has directed the exponential growth of A1 Cash & Carry over the last 20 years. We’ve been awarded with being on the Growth 500 from McLean’s magazine for three years running (2017, 2018, 2019).
By focusing on customer satisfaction, supply chain and strategic growth, Mr. Parvaiz has changed Restaurant Wholesale in the Greater Toronto Area.
Since 1998 Mr. Parvaiz has been delivering to businesses across Ontario. In 2011 Mr. Parvaiz opened the first large scale Cash & Carry in Mississauga, with state of the art commercial coolers and freezers to supply restaurants with the best frozen and fresh ingredients. In 2014 Mr. Parvaiz opened the second A1 Cash & Carry in Etobicoke, Ontario, an express location with 20,000 square feet. In 2016 Mr. Amjad moved the Mississauga location 2 buildings south, to a new gleaming 100,000 square feet, which was expanded 2 years later to 150,000 square feet to accommodate our growth, and to add the restaurant equipment, small wares and protein categories. In 2017 Mr. Amjad opened the third A1 Cash & Carry location in London Ontario, to a severely underserved market.
Mr. Amjad looks forward to future growth by increasing the number of locations, E-Commerce (Click & Collect, Bulk delivery, 3rd Party Delivery) by Q3 2020, and growing within our current customer base.
