Joy Waffle Cones are made with a blend of cake and pastry flours and naturally sweetened with dark brown sugar, giving them a rich taste without the burnt aftertaste that comes from added molasses. Waffle cones naturally have a higher sugar content than sugar cones, which can make them more fragile, so Joy uses less shortening and adds fibre to the batter for real strength, dramatically reducing breakage. A sharper cone angle also means more of each serving stays visible above the rim, for better portion control and presentation.
